  Colorful trees.......pigs in the streets...[Henry Adams, a great Pynchon influence, wrote of Southern towns in america with "pigs in the streets' which I found quoted and sent around a bit ago and can not find again at the moment.....we know Pynchon likes pigs...................
  sparrows going after people.....(part of) P's vision of earthly paradise, so to say...?
