848 "against the face his soul would have if souls had faces"----who else would write that?
  if I think of a soul, I sorta half-think of a face....but real faces matter to TRP, yes?
   
  "vernal equipoise"....loosly linked in Google searches to vernal equinox and
used by the great naturalist John Burroughs to describe the poise of Spring
 (matched by Fall) in his Spring Jottings.
