p. 850 "message with Gennaro"....Saint Januarius, or San Gennaro, bishop of Benevento, is a saint and martyr in both the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox traditions.
p.850 I do not think this is relevant here---every association is not relevant!---but one never knows..... perhaps the once-famous "message to garcia" by Elbert Hubbard 1899 is a buried allusion?..(but why didn't TRP write Garcia rather than Gennaro? As written, i am reminded of the fall of a crystal palace, in miniature, so to speak. GR in lower outdoor case, also so to speak.
