  That dialogue between Vlado and Theign........archetypal spy situation talk......what to reveal when and veiled threats and suggestions.....all encoded...............and worse than a pistol in a bar put to one's head with the promise of immediate death...........................because compared to this encoded. threatening dialogue there is at least A CHANCE in the bar!

  In the 20th Century world of all-encircling surveillance--the highest stakes--it is hopeless...
