Dear fellows,
Claro, French translator of Against the Day, and director of a series
called Lot49 at Le Cherche-Midi, made an announcement on his blog
about a collection of essays to be published next september, when his
translation of AtD, Face au jour, will be published by les éditions
du Seuil, famous publisher in Paris. Articles by Richard Powers, Luc
Sante, Tom Robbins, Rick Moody and by critics like Tom LeClair and
Pierre-Yves Pétillon will be there among many other interesting texts
(and illustrations by Zak Smith). No picture, no interview, no
formerly unpublished text of Thomas Pynchon, but many good things to
read (in French).
Here's the text, and some kind of a contents' page:

On his blog too, a photo of his proof-reading copy's first page.

I wish I could translate all of his for you guys! If you're curious
about something in particular, I'll take some time for further comments.
Clément
