Much more to the point, anybody who has been paying attention
over the last year now knows there are quite a few remarkable
Characters in TRPV's bloodline, a buried history, a religious
revolution. Worth persuing for its own sweet sake.

[Sniffing the air] Is there an palindrome in here somewhere?

There are many pugs. Are there really very many Pynchons? If not, then
perhaps they ARE all closely related. Evidence?! That's the kind of
thinking they want. :-)

David, do YOU know "the answers to these questions?" Any of them? If you
don't, then... Assume the negative? That makes an ass of you.

Have you any evidence that this David Pynchon is any more related to TRP
than my pugs are to each other?

And do you assume that there was only one Pynchon colonist way back then, or
that David Pynchon's ancestors didn't immigrate to the US in the previous
generation?

If you don't know the answers to these questions I think "random" is an apt
description.
