For what it’s worth Leibniz figures almost as prominently as does Newton in
Neal Stephenson’s rather decent-reading “The Baroque Cycle” trilogy.

this is great especially for the 3/4th of the ways we humans are like
animals, imho and for this: "Rationality, however, is really only the
ability to form "indubitable
connection[s] of ideas" and to follow them to their "infallible
consequences."
 
TRP, everything connects, pushing ideas to their
consequences...................that is him.
