I almost agree. But I'd (somewhat hesitatingly) go for that V. cast:
Victoria Wren, the Parisian V., Veronica Manganese, Vera Meroving...

Hesitatingly, as hesitation is an effect of _V._ itself. It thematizes
and mobilizes the very concept of "femme fatale". Epistemologizes it.
_V._ arguably becomes THE book of "femme fatality". Its orchestration
and questioning at the same time.
