I do remember at my first acute psychosis, a huge awareness of Hiroshima,
as if the explosion wavefront, crystalizing the universe, just reached me;
But it was the wavefront of my ego-dissolution expanding backwards in time.
I recall the phrase "wet quantum physics" (but it googled badly).
Roger [Penrose] and I teamed up to develop a theory of consciousness based
on quantum computation in microtubules within neurons.

Quantum Consciousness . Stuart Hameroff
In a book titled The Quantum and the Lotus by Mathieu Ricard and Trinh Xuan
Thuan (Crown Publishers, 2001), Ricard (a molecular biologist turned Buddhist
meditator and co-author of the Lutz study) describes the Buddhist concept of
three levels of consciousness, including the most important "fundamental
luminosity of the mind". This is a "state of pure awareness that transcends the
perception of a subject/object duality and breaks free from the constraints and
traps of discursive thought." Moreover this form of consciousness, according to
Mathieu Ricard, can exist independently of the brain, and in fact pervades the
universe.

EEGmeditation
Mental states and/or properties can be considered as emergent if the material
brain is not necessary or not sufficient to explore and understand them.[3]

> Remember "inside and outside the mind" re Someone in the Cyprian chapters?
Jesus said to them, "When you make the two one, and when you
make the inside like the outside and the outside like the
inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the
male and the female one and the same, so that the male not
be male nor the female female; and when you fashion eyes in
the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a
foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a
likeness; then will you enter the kingdom."
