On yellow

I wouldn't rule it out...all these associations add richness.
However, my first thought was simply, that was what he
was wearing during his (Theign-brokered) previous
assignation with the Prince, and he didn't want to
play the same role.
As to why he would have worn yellow that time,
indeed all the associations would come into play, nicht wahr?
