Hector's being Hispanic is also, dare I say, post-modern. It turns the
modern/PC good-Hispanic on his head. And I do like Robin's associating him
with a flipped Heston as Ramon Miguel 'Mike' Vargas in "Touch of Evil."

As a practical matter, with so many Hispanics in California, I could see the
state using (gee, if I was using HTML, I'd underline the word "using") some
of the population for the state's nefarious purposes.

A lot of pot comes across the border from Mexico. Does anyone know if
Hispanics have been as active as hippies and some plain old thugs in growing
the stuff in California?
