Henry,

The problem is somewhere in the translation from posting to the list- 
serve and those email then going out to the various subscribers. I use  
the Mac OS X Mail program, which is quite modern and handles HTML  
emails just fine, thx, but still some users' messages where rendered  
unreadable by formatting junk that didn't survive the list-serve  
software.

I belong to a number of tech-oriented list-serves and they *insist* on  
sending emails in plain text because of the list-serve software.

This morning's digest I just received looked almost 100% clean, except  
for John Bailey's post. I'd be curious how John prepares and sends his  
posts because his contained formatting junk.
