Again, the concern isn't how HTML looks in our HTML-ready e-mail  
programs, it's how HTML sub-codes appear on the Waste.org archives,  
which appear to be steam powered.

We've got the latest versions of Apple [OS-X, fer Chrisake, we're well  
into Cray territory], Comcast, Yahoo & suchlike for our e-mail  
browsers---all designed with HTML in mind. The p-list archive is based  
on some antediluvian architecture that does not recognize [or  
automatically bury] all that sub-code. Someone trying to scoop and  
serve our thoughts elsewhere [like Time Ware with all of his wonderful  
Pynchon Wikis] might end up with:

and just give up.
