what I remember him from is he took over the editorship of The Whole
Earth Catalog from Stewart Brand. The Whole Earth Review went on for
a few years and had some good articles.
I still kind of like Paracelsus' notion of elementals cooking up gold
and other minerals beneath the surface of the earth.

He's pointing to a paper written by somebody else.
