I stand corrected, a- and i don't even mind being
banished to gameshow loserhood with brother
Zoyd, but still, pretty slim pickins for the high brows.
Although, technically, wasn't that Bach cantata
considered sacred (as opposed to secular) music
at the time, and therefore to be enjoyed by all
classes?
Which makes me wonder if V,, GR, even COL49
can be considered "pop," Although VL I think can
be, sort of like the Watts Towers:

assembled from the "vernacular" of the times.

[Hits imaginary buzzer]
". . . I'm sorry Mr. Wraith, the correct answer is "Wachet Auf",
Johann Sebastian Bach's Cantata Bwv # 140 :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wachet_auf,_ruft_uns_die_Stimme
. . . a work concerning resurrection
