ATDTDA 722...Blue surrender

I think the phrase "mortal flaccidity and blue surrender" is sublime.......anyone else?
Only a great poet would come up with it, imho.........
 
It has been inside and outside of my head since rereading it for this discussion..... 
 
there is a poem/song online called Pale Blue Surrender...I'll link to it, although
I am not suggesting TRP got the phrase from it, but, who knows with him, as 
MB always says.

News Bulletin: There is another song called "Blue Surrender" by a Mary Coughlan
who does a tribute to Billie Holiday on one album so she must be a bluesy singer
and "Blue Surrender" is from a 1987 album called Under the Influence.......

I might think TRP has heard this,what with his love of jazz, blues (and all kinds of) music......
