To prepare for the treatment of anarchy next week,
I recomend the following URL in a 1911 encyclopedia
contemporaneous with our ATD story. Had high school
social studies been written like this, opinionated
and often politically incorrect, instead of bland
Dick and Jane prose of the schoolbooks I remember,
I might have taken an greater interest in history.
This disabuses, what reading the Bible didn't, my
youthful notion of life as pleasant and equitable.
