Sting reads..but not tediously

Gee, hate to be snarky and all that, but the Lute on Sting's altogether curious 
recordings of that most misbegotten of all the great composers---John Dowland, 
Semper Dowland, Semper Dolans---is provided by the doubtless reliable Edin 
Karamazov [who, as I recall, crashed on my living room floor somewhere around 
1992/94 during an early music festival in Berkeley]. And all of you should hear 
Nigel North's magnificent traversal of Dowland's complete solo lute music on 
Naxos:

For some weird reason, John Dowland reminds me of John Dee. 
Then there's Dowland's unceasing Triste to consider. . . .
