Epilogue of Fassbinder's Berlin Alexanderplatz

hi all

quite an ending to Fassbinder's opus--a surreal hellscape of mass
slaughter, S&M, nazi porn, blasphemy, jewish christers, and other
weimar decadence (of course, with some rather anachronistic musak)
imagine folks--this was shown on German TV.

after watching it, one could argue Fassbinder could've tackled some of
the rather more baroque aspects of the GR scenes with Blicero

a vote for Reinhold --I think he's the best thing in the film--satan,
hitler, a lowly creep, and that stutter.  brilliant

in any case, a most memorable viewing and a nice companion piece to
Hitler: A Film from Germany
