a Husar is, I guess, a Hussar, right?  which is a
cavalryman like those Cyprian saw on the train.

anyway, "Husaren herauf" isn't far from the GR
title "Jugend herauf" (which in turn was a play on "Juden heraus")

he was in a string of titles that look like the work of
that director in GR...yukking it up in the early 3rd Reich
("Springtime for Hitler"...)
