Checking the record re. Monte's "ad hominem attack," I found it
consisted of a *single statement* following a point by point
refutation of Rich's problems w/ Dyson's review.  That statement was:
"Rich, you really haven't a clue, have you?"

Rather mild as ad hominems go, especially on this list....
