still, there does seem to be a visto - from Skeezicks reference
to Uncle Wiggily to Garis the author to the Chums narrator -
that might've been cut by Pynchon

anyway, it rings some of my chimes

I can't state exactly what border that visto is tracing,
but it seems to lead deeper into AtD, not away from it.

particularly w/r/t
storytelling traditions and how they're played with in AtD/GR/et all --

It's obviously incorrect to infer the Uncle Wiggily Game as
the object of references in the novel to a "Great Game"
since those references are in fact to Tetris!
