Yeah,  And as humanly "natural" and potentially "justice-inducing"
(maybe even noble?) might be this kind of vengeance anger - a very
central theme in ATD - it is sort of the opposite of the Karma concept
(Vibe's (and Lake's, and Duece's) ultimate fate-dealer), something we
know Pynchon is also very aware of.  The balance of these two forces a
pretty much on-the-surface theme of the book, I'd say.
