Gegen den Tag

Dear all,
to make it quickly downloadable, I had the recording of
Deutschlandfunk LCB about Gegen den Tag cut into 4 parts that you
will find here:

http://dl.free.fr/noSHRienr/001-GegendenTag.m4a
http://dl.free.fr/jtGxr5BNR/002-GegendenTag.m4a
http://dl.free.fr/kSX9xiw83/003-GegendenTag.m4a
http://dl.free.fr/n6egiStmn/004-GegendenTag.m4a

I hope you won't have any problem in the process. On every one of
this four pages, you will find a 20 to 30 Mo file that your computer
shall immediately begin to download to your hard-drive. If there's
any problem, contact me off-list, I'll try another way to give you
the recording. A-and, I started taping half a minute too soon, so
you'll have the traffic conditions in Germany on January 25th around
8 p.m. Inoubliable !

I could listen to most of it, and it sounds interesting. I should
listen to it more carefully to give you any reliable advice.

And I happened to find Christophe Claro, Pynchon's French translator,
on blogger. You'll be happy to recognize many allusions to the Pynch.
He even gives a few pages of his Face au Jour (and not A contre-jour,
as we could think), and of a essay on Pynchon, both yet unpublished.
Face au jour should be ready next fall. The current issue of the NRF
revue also publishes an extract of his translation. I'll dive on it
as soon as I'll be back at the library. Claro is also the author of a
new book on Flaubert (Madman Bovary): he only does lightweights, as
you see. He might be lurking too, hello Claro!
