You are the one equating einsatzgruppen with what he calls "patriotic
soldiers."  You do so by  ignoring his intended meaning, your "average
GI," which you then contrast against the einsatzgruppen.

You are intentionally misconstruing his words because you want to
equate WVB with einsatzgruppen.
