French translation of Atd is considered in the French press to be one of 
the few highlights of the Fall 2008 literary season. Compliments already 
all over the place.

Claro, translator, wanted to have it translated as Face a Jour -- which 
would have been a nice wor(l)d play. However, Pynchon insisted on
