Related anecdote: One night I was involved in a "sesiun" with a group of
musicians from Belfast. Mostly new arrivals, mostly illegal, mostly of rebel
leanings. When it came to the turn of one man he stood up and sang "The
Ludlow Miner Massacre" with great force and conviction. Apparently it was
considered an anthem for Catholics in Belfast.
