Ah, so Lew 'detects' some of OBAs deep themes as he moves through the book?
Which itself makes a thematic point of playing it as it lays, so to speak, rather than forcing any Pretentious Meanings? 

TRPs sympathetic protagonists are NOT ego-driven, but receptive to things as they are?
