whatever next one we read, and the circle is everywhere, let's make it even more like jazz
than we ALREADY do....(all the wonderful solos).......and have a steady bassline intertwining Whatever with AtD.....??

I love the big books, but let's bring it all back down to
earth and (re)read V. It's an even more difficult read
for me and, I feel, fundamental in its own feverish way.
I like its ending more than any other book by OBA.

Good points all, too bad that "V" is my least favorite. Can't call it
one of the "Small" books, 'cause it ain't, but it's got our boy's
least considered stuff, leastaways considering how nuanced his
portrayals of 'deviant' charecters become in AtD.

But you make an excellent point, and "V" sure does tie into AtD, don't it?
