Much of the religious, spirtual stuff..and its connection (or loss) in the traditional communities, esp. the European, esp, the "Macdonian" communites pervaces Atd....

I am reading Eliade a bit..............his take on the way whole communitites are
connected to 'the Godhead" is a major theme of one book......................
The place of the 'tower', the temple, the highest "pole' for that matter.....the
hallowed space of courtyards within courtyards within the walled perimeter....
stuff we have just been through in the last couple-three hundred pages.......

And, of course, the sacred and (benny) profane lines................

This was my (tacit) point as well. When we finish up here, I may have
to put in some time cleaning up/adding to the wiki ...

in GR, maybe.

How so (sensing way to cajole discussion)? Often comes up in re: The
Crying of Lot 49, might as well do so in re: V. as well (Benny
PROFANE) ...

... but, of course, I'm behind in finishing up on Tim's behalf. If
anyone is set to continue, by all means, do so ...
