Pynchon might easily have seen it....he was 28....V. is done.....he is reading, listening, writing, watching TV........surely GR is being thought of, at least................probably being researched and written?........................................

Cof L 49 comes next 66, 67......for Esquire.............he needs the money (in order to keep
writing GR...)

Shout out (LOL) to one P-Lister who let me know that my original message on
this subject DID go through.

Um, lemee try this again:
A '65 TV show with "Rainbow" in the episode title; WWII GI's
helping an
English Colonel to find and destroy a V-2 launch site. That's 1965, i.e.
BGR!

I am rocket-blasted by the silence on this! Does it need to appear in an
academic journal before we can consider OBA's TV-watching (as opposed to
toilet) habits; is it just too TV pop-cult for y'all?

Test, test...

I'm just so excited at my good fortune at finding this Combat! episode that
I'm stunned by their being no response, and so I'm wondering: did my
message
get through? If not, I'll resend it, because I believe that the
Rainbow/V-2
connection (never mind the "Luck") before the publication of GR is
significant, particularly in an episode of a WWII TV series that featured
directors as influential as Robert Altman (who did not direct this episode)!

Reply to me, please, and not to the list.
