grladams remark on feeling sympathy for Kit altho he's getting drawn into bad stuff

Another of my hobbyhorses here: yes, we are meant to feel sympathy, TRPs sympathy
  for Kit (and all the Traverses) and the way Dad (and his fellow workers) were exploited often unto death,  BUT.................
   
  Even anti-Government actions can be part of the problem, part of the whole interpenetrated State/corporate/military power plays in AtD, I want to say (and just did)...??
   
  Dad's actions play out as the sins of the father visited on the kids in AtD??
