Pynchon Pre-Birthday Bash a Regular Krupp Wingding

I had a dream last night I attended a Pynchon con. The level of detail was
intense. One of you has reddish hair. Another of you reminded me about my
cell phone, which buzzed in my sac. There was a ceremony of some kind, very
unorganized, but in generally we faced forward and listened to a host say
something. One of you, a woman, in a moment of downtime, borrowed my
computer to look something up. Whenever people tried to speak their names
to me, a clatter would arise across the room and that would block the
sound. My partner was there, completely bored but being a good sport. I
don't remember the food, but there was a breakout session where we sat in
smaller circles.
