AFAIR, the fable wasn't included in the version of "Kill
Bill" that was shown in Finland. Only the films by Welles
and Jordan [in whose film it is told by Forest Whitaker
who starred in Jarmusch's "Ghost Dog"] came to mind
automatically.

I surfed a bit and found out that "Natural Born Killers"
contains the story in the form of "a woman and a snake".
I had forgotten it.
