A word I should have used back in the previous 
post is "Polychoral", in reference to works using 
multiple choirs. The San Francisco Bach Choir 
specializes in polychoral music, in particular for Yule.
I was their recording engineer for seven years.

Note that the Tallis Fantasia first appears at the
"Three Choirs Festival", the polychoral nature and
roots of the Vaughan-Williams piece on display
in the subdivision of the string orchestra into
