of The People's Vengeance Party, unlike much else he says that is---captures the real Dostoevsky's touchstone: What happens to innocents, to children, defines morality, one's theology even.....

More--probably made-up stuff--in TMoP that Coetzee wants us to know went into the real Doestoevsky (as a seed in the soul?) for HIS The Demons, I say....
