White Noise - DeLillo
Unbearable Lightness of Being - that insurance salesman (not a bad read,
though)
Slaughterhouse 5 - Vonnegut
The White Hotel - Thomas
Moby Dick - Melville
Shame - Rushdie
Probably a bunch of Poe and Lovecraft and Kafka
Interestingly, these books hardly rate as favourites (apart from WUBC), so I
don't know why I've read them multiple times. I've taught a few which might
explain it.
