Dave,

Somehow whenever someone (or is it only me?) disagrees with you, it is
taken as "angry,"
or antagonistic, or...  And this whole thread (which you've generously
added to) is "personal."

I've always thought "discussion" could involve disagreement, and that
such discussion ADDED to the interaction...

BTW, some might think calling a book/genre "fascist" that another
P-lister mentioned as good is a bit antagonistic.
