I tend to agree with you but the lure of the books I've not read is
usually stronger than the desire to reread the old ones. I'm
probably a plot-level reader at heart. Most recent reread was "The
Masters of Petersburg" but before that was The Confusions of Young
Torless by Robert Musill. I've now got Midnight's Children kinda
started again and Interpreter of Maladies also - I'm not really far
enough along in them to call them rereads yet - I popped them open to
the first chapter and read that -
