Take all those "Tristero" stamps at the final auction---The Lot 49,
the thing itself! All those fictive, fraudlent forgeries, are in and of
themselves an inherent vice, being used as postage
[or "potstage, I'd guess] stamps. So, whatever value as
collectibles the Tristero System Stamps may possess, on top of
that they are also a forgeries, therefore illegal at the moment of
conception, an inherent vice as regards re-assessing if covered
by insurance or for re-sale.
I wonder if there's a flippant nod to "The Recognitions" in CoL49?
