Pynchon on the Radio

I caught a snippet while driving of Bill Maher being interviewed on NPR
yesterday (go ahead, call me an Eastern intellectual elitist truck driver).

He said the Bible reads like a Thomas Pynchon novel. I thought it was funny.
I'm not sure it was meant as a compliment to the Bible.
