Hillman writes of how "working" at love in a relationship is the wrong word, the wrong concept....
"Love is aesthetic and sensuous, and a kind of joy. Love doesn't result
from working at something."

We all remember that sensuosly aesthetic Cyprian from AtD; Cypian, who,
all at once, after carrying and caring for gravely wounded, nearly-dying Danilo, suddenly, one moment---seemingly causelessly---feels intense joy.
