IV; Lebowski

Otto, on your recommendation I will watch The Big Lebowski again, and  
see if I find the kind of enjoyment there reported by several people  
whose taste I understand and appreciate.  It's possible that my  
inability to get into it the first time had as much to do with the  
person who introduced me to it, as any other factor.

It will be fun to pick up the references in IV to Pynchon's previous  
books -- when these references are surfaced and strung together, the  
gloss that emerges will be an interesting one, I expect.
