- This is really just a heads up for UK plisters who, like me, have been inspired by Inherent Vice to increase their knowledge of John Garfield's work.

- I've collected quite a few films now, in a variety of formats. But here's one I found on Amazon UK for a price that really can't be refused - £2.98 including postage for 'The Postman Always Rings Twice', a 2009 re-issue of teh Garfield and Lana Turner classic, which includes some extras, notably a 55 minute documentary, 'The John Garfield Story'.
