see that quote from Simone Weil, author of "Gravity & Grace" [sic], who, I think, captures another deep theme of TRPs--mostly in AtD---about time.
I am coming to think TRP has read the famous Simone Weil--see that book title again, especially Gravity against Grace has lotsa historic meanings.
I once read one of her books and will read G & G for clues, ala Lew B.
