IVIV..Revenge....discussion?

I see aspects of IV as mini-metaphors for some of TRPs deepest, lifelong themes. I see him as seeing 'things' this way, his sportello frame:

A deep theme may be that notion in GR (from N.O.Brown?; from Freudian-related psychology of history elsewhere? . Jung? any number of other writers) that violence [death] begets violence. That violence against simple Life leads, psychically, historically, to a counter-reaction against Life. 

I have read one meaning of the horrible events in The Courier's Tragedy in Lot 49 as a metaphoric compression of that notion.

Tariq's name means messenger. Courier. Just sayin'....(seems more in context here that his name refers to the message of deracination he brings)
