Few misc. words

When hosting, I want to try not to repeat stuff already on the wiki. That great service is THE place to start a close(r) reading, imho. 
I want to risk a reading or some readings. What's a heaven for? 
Or, stupid is as stupid says. 

Samuel Johnson: "Every man has a right to stand and give his opinion;
and every other man has the right to knock it down". This is kind of unnecessary for we plisters, right, but it does put our sometime contentiousness in a nice literary tradition, yes?

I will try to distinguish between Kute (or Klever) Korrespondences, Deep Background and real allusions, echoes, etc. but this is one thing to challenge me--anyone--on, imho. 

I do not have a scanner (yet) so I will point to certain sections/pages, rather than tyoe them all out presuming we all have this book close to hand. 

Send me any Google look-ups you want. I'll send some, but IV seems ...different in some Googlish ways than AtD, say.
