IVIV, Bigfoot on Doc's case

As in many a noir, the P.I. linked to the scene--
here in IV out cold on the ground---is a suspect.
In Bigfoot's case, pre-emptive judging, of course,
his defining attitude. 

also reminds me of that related theme throughout 
P's oeuvre--those in power blaming the victim.


And then there is this 'joke':
'Watch your head'
'Watch my....how'm I spoze to do that, man?"

Doc just joking? head-banged and still out of it?

He can't be that stupid...
