I bought my copy today and as soon as I picked it up I thought about how thin it was and I wanted it to be more like ATD in re: to heft. Then I opened it and started reading and was thankful. No other author will force me into a bookstore the day of release like Pynchon. No other author makes me feel the way he does when I read his sentences. I dont know why, I'm not that smart to figure it out. I just hope he has a few more suprises for me.

I bought my copy, threw it in the backseat of my car where my dog put a few toothmarks into the corner of the cover...I take this to be a Good Sign...
