Particularly during a time when a series of adventure and magic novels  
aimed at a young-adult readership that expanded to the size of À la  
recherche du temps perdu would become the top seller in all categories  
of book sales and create huge and hard to manage midnight sales of  
these novels at the big-box stores that sold them.
